When to Build an Automation vs When to Hire
Automation is strongest when the process is known, repetitive, measurable, and painful enough to justify ownership.

Do not automate a process you do not understand. First make the workflow visible: inputs, decisions, exceptions, owners, and failure points.
Hire when judgment is the bottleneck. Automate when repetition is the bottleneck. The best systems usually do both: people handle decisions, software handles movement, reminders, sync, reporting, and validation.
Start with the smallest reliable automation that removes daily friction. If it saves time every week and reduces mistakes, it has earned its place.
